I'd like to see Daniel Day Lewis take the role in the next film.

That might be interesting. I think the next movie should focus on batman more then villains though.

I love the scoring they have done with the last two movies. I feel no need to tie in another group/act. The power of such scoring can give quiet undertones to the scene, to slamming you against the wall when things get become intense. And it does so without losing style or relevance.

Even in the older series of movies, I always favored Danny Elfman's scoring to whatever vocal artist was given. To me, a vocal piece would detract from the movie. Can you imagine Star Wars done with music of the day (1976) vs. John Williams scores? I feel it would detract from them.

It was kind of cool that the double disc also came with a free download of the movie from iTunes. Having that download saved my sanity at work alone today while doing data analysis.
