sigh. i've never played a show for a sweetie. besides orchestra/band or choir concerts, but that's not the same. no dancing! no drinking! no visible merriment!

I guess what appeals to me the most about it is that I get to be whoever I want up there, and it varies show to show, mood to mood.....but whatever I'm doing, be it a good nite or a so so nite, to be doing something that for me is very revealing and intimate and to be able to get lost in it and yet know that for her all of it is allright, whoever I am that night she's into, that's a pretty amazing thing. I know lots of people who's wives or girlfriends hate their band lives and seethe with jealousy and control issues......I've never once had to deal with that.

Sometimes its hard to find stuff for us to do but i will name as much as i can...here goes.... We go to the movies, bowling, we play board games, go to yard sales and other shopping places......actually the best thing to do is cook together because then you can sit and enjoy the food together afterwards. Also we take baths together and just talk.... we go on walks, get ice cream, this sunday we are going canoeing.... i will post more when i think of more

We go out to Bloomer Park in Rochester and party and shoot each other up with paintball guns with the rest of the boys until we get welts. It's pretty damn intense, haven't been able to do it in months with no transpo.

I don't really care about the zoo one way or another, but Guy is SO cute when we go to the zoo. You know what it's like to see someone 'in their element', so to speak? Like your friends who are in bands and they get on stage and you're like 'who the hell is THAT rock star!' and you realize it's your friend who is too shy to order a pizza? It's kind of the same thing with Guy at the zoo. He RUNS to the cages. He grabs my hand and he drags me and we run. I protest saying things like 'They're in a CAGE. They've been in a cage for twenty years! They aren't going anywhere!' and he just runs faster.

sometimes i think if you even want to spend any time with the person that says a lot you can be with someone but not even stand to be around them.

He's fun. He likes me only slightly less than he likes gibbons, but I DO rank above sugar gliders. One takes what one can get.

Oh, I forgot about playing with hair. He's not allowed to go bald. I have told him that many times. I assure you I am that shallow. And the older we get, the wilder his hair gets, so that soon he will look like a crazed professor. It'll be so hot.

Maybe it's my trichotillomania (I'm a compulsive hair puller, most of the time my eyebrows look like Vanilla Ice, but whatever, back to the topic at hand) but I LOVE playing with Guy's hair. And okay, this might sound weird, but he has really soft arm hair, so sometimes I just kind of 'pet' him. He always said he would be the perfect man for a woman who wanted a dog and a boyfriend but didn't have time for both. He was right. I just pet, pet, pet him. Ah. Relaxing.
