Of course right as the semester is starting where I'm driving 60 miles a day for classes. Bastards. :rant:

...but nobody makes a thread when the prices drop...it took me (a non-driver) about a month to notice...

...but all in all..I'll warn you all to pay a fair amount of attention to the OTHER things going on when gas prices are skyrocketing...it's their stand-by cover story...I SEE PATTERNS.

That's because we were happy and didn't want to jinx anything.

...but all in all..I'll warn you all to pay a fair amount of attention to the OTHER things going on when gas prices are skyrocketing...it's their stand-by cover story...I SEE PATTERNS.

I am noticing a trend but haven't yet put it all together.

...when they want to distract you they raise the effectual cost of living by raising gas prices...because these dudes have friends that can do that...we'll keep an eye on it...

I seen gas as low as $1.20 last week through South Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky.

It wasn't until I got to Ohio and Michigan that it was $1.70 - $1.89.

Even West Virginia and Virginia were in the $1.50 range.

Everything is cheaper down there though. I know people who go just to get cigs at dirt cheep prices.

i prefer to blame hamas.

anytime israel shoots at arabs, opec puckers their asses and gas goes up.

btw.... this morning gas was $1.53 in texas. =/

      I have no idea why I'm even on all of these call lists that are on Robo-Dial by A.I.  One is a female voice and the other is a male voice and all they did was change the name that they give you.  I did get put through to a few live people to try to ask them to remove me from their list, but they, the telemarketer, hung up on me.   It's like I'm living "Telemarketers Revenge" for all the years of people handing up on them.   I always spoke with the telemarketer and then wished them a good day before hanging up.  And this is what I get for all of my decades of kindness.  I don't think I deserve this, but the World has lost a lot of the niceties that it used to have when I was growing up.  And no...COVID did not cause this.  I'm also getting tired of that excuse.  Its been 6 years!  People felt they were given the Green Light to be anti-social and rude to your face and now it is part of society just like everything else Mainstream adopts and considers it a cultural add-on.   I just hope I can survive this onslaught of calls blowing up my phone until it dies down.  Else, I will place a block on my number and only allow calls from family, friends and medical associated with my job.

      This is crazy.   I had to mute my phone because I am getting 50+ calls a day regarding Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Burial Benefits, a Senior Food Expense Card, a Senior Social Security monthly reimbursement benefit, etc., and I don't qualify for any of it.  I don't even meet the age requirement.   At current, I have 53 missed calls and 38 of them were from yesterday.
