Good clubs to go to?

Haha, the big place to go after IGUN is Big Boy. Meet all your local clubbers in one spot. It's.. kinda fun.

Yeah, kind of like Coney at 12 and Main here. Unless people live too far off from it. I used to go to The Clock after Mephisto's but their food sucks, and their service depending on who it is sucks as well.

Eventually I'd like to get a list of 24 hour eateries (among other places) as well.

That would be useful!

The clock is a tradition but I have to agree, it sux now - I normally wake up running to the bathroom at 6am after eating there now.

Do Corner Kids still hit up the National there? After ALL these years of being disbanded?

Hmm, I'll have to stop by again and reconnect with people, check it out and all. Royal Oak has changed so much for the worst that I never think to go there, unless we're visiting my ex and hanging out with him.

I'm a Bdubs girl myself. My german and I order like 10 different things off the menu, then fuck up the texas hold 'em by going all-in every hand we get.

Needless to say the staff has a severe love-hate relationship for us. We spend and tip rather generously, but we're a menace. It's the dying remnants of my once rebellious self.

Yeah... Royal Oak is kind of dead. Most people I know moved on etc... and maybe once in a while people will show up for nostalgic reasons but other than that...

Coney is still a great place to eat though. Cheap and 24 hours are my only requirements. Having food that won't kill you is just a bonus.

Don't like the Leland? What's up with that? :p

As it's been said, the MGM is a short drunk walk away.. BUT, I've stayed in the Leland enough times now to be a familiar face at the front desk, and i've never had an issue.

I don't drive drunk, and I dont go to clubs not to drink, so the Leland is an easy choice for me. I understand that it's not a 5 star hotel but it really could be worse...

Sometimes the rooms are run down or messed up, and you just let them know and they'll move you. Some people are long term tenants living there in apartments so it's not all just a hotel.

The only downside is if the ghost stories freak you out in a bad way... If in doubt, stay with us and party or get a room next to us and i'll protect ya.. haha

And, we are from Lansing too so if you ever want a ride, or just want to chill, hit us up...

From what I've heard yeah. Unless Andrew takes it over again it's gone :/
