You've been notified. So that's why there is ice on my Fu Manchu??? Huh...who knew that a dewpoint of 0°=instant face frost when the moisture generated from exhalation is immediately drawn to the facial hairs, not nearly as heat conductive as they are in other mamallian species, condensing. Thus the moisture of ones own exhalation, combined with the sub-freezing temperature differential will result in said solidification of the water droplets. Henceforth, be warned to avoid such drastic temperature differentials when dealing with your mucosa and non heat conductive inanimate objects. In other words kids: Don't stick your tongue or moistened lips to anything not alive or non porous. Your shit will freeze too it instantly. FYI, at lunch, we took a 1/3 cup of hot tea water, heaved it into the sky and it 1/4 turned into vapor, 1/4 turned into lil snow flakes, and 50% hit the ground as lil ice/slush droplets. It was effin sweet!!

Homicidalheathen Posted January 17, 2009 Posted January 17, 2009 13 in roseville...its always a few degrees warmer here than everywhere else...the heat of hell I calls it
Soulrev Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 It was -23 degrees actual temperature here in NW Indiana on Thursday night. I had to take my dad to work Friday morning because the fuel injectors on his car were frozen and it wouldn't start. A town just northeast of me got 25 inches of Lake Effect snow on Wednesday, we got about 16.
TitsMcGee Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 umm I tried to leave today and the door knob was frozen because of the cold. It's bad when you have to put a blow dryer in the garage isnt it.
