UPDATE!!!

GRANTED, it's been a little over 2months. baby's doing fine, i'm not allowed over the house anymore because grandma was picking up on what was really going on. guess the mom is doing a bit better, but my friend is still out there because of obligations. he gets out once a week, maybe more than that, and when he can, stops to see me for only a couple of hours. i'm more of emotional support for this situation. *sighs* the important thing here is that baby is doing good. the mom's still a little off, but from what he's telling me, she's actually doing her part.
