Asked on NBC how she was able to afford the treatments, Suleman said she had saved money and used some of the more than $165,000 in disability payments she received after being injured in a 1999 riot at a state mental hospital where she worked.

Angela Suleman said Nadya's boyfriend was the biological father of all 14 children, but that she refused to marry him.

Besides the money it is going to take or who is going to be paying for all these kids, I don't see how 1 person could handle raising 14 kids all one their own! I have one child and she takes up nearly all my time all day long. I would not be surprised if we soon will be hearing that this woman has had her children taken from her. Cause there is just no way one person can raise 14 kids on their own...No Way!!!!

I hope the fertility doctor that did the implantation goes before ACOG (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists,) and whatever fertility certification body and gets his privileges revoked on ethics violations. Parental evaluations and ability to raise the kids are things that have to be considered. This woman should have failed out of qualifications based on irrational expectations (more children make her happy!?) lack of ability to take care of the children, and severe psychiatric disturbances. This does not sound like a woman I want raising A child, let alone 14.

Especially now that she said she's not having anymore because the octs. are a "sign from god." Frankly I thought the first 6 would have been a pretty good sign to stop first.
