Why the hell didn't this woman have some means of controlling this animal in case of emergency? A stun gun or whatever? Lotta conflicting reports around this but one story said she had to call 911 a previous time when the thing got loose... so she did have some idea that controlling it could be an issue. Just sad. I'm sure it's purely hellish to know you're responsible for a friend being horrifically disfigured.
