TheOsakaKoneko Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Does anyone know any events/bars/places that are having any good St Patrick's Day celebrations on St Patrick's Day itself? I know City is having their party on Sat March 14...but I already plan to wear something else, not green. Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone knows of anything good to do on Tuesday March 17!

Scary Guy Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 ...I also hear Church is good on Holidays.... On this holiday? Drunk in church? I don't drink and I don't go to church, but maybe I could make an exception for both just this once :D
Rev.Reverence Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 On this holiday? Drunk in church? I don't drink and I don't go to church, but maybe I could make an exception for both just this once :D It IS a Catholic Holy Day IRISH CATHOLIC.....the most pagan Catholics they still make.... ...whilst I have no ties to Rome...Ireland always has a bit o' me... .....in the old days...this was more of a day to go out & get hammered 'cause you're sick of waiting for your countie's Spring Equinox Festival to happen...I SWEAR IT! ..& funny thing...there's NO RULE against havin' a nip before Church...unless you are takin' oaths that day...like your wedding...but I brought a flask for RIGHT AFTER! booze+church=

candyman Posted March 2, 2009 Posted March 2, 2009 Silly Irish with their drinking and holidays...so childish... I will be wearing my traditional Kilt, drinking a single malt scotch, and tossing a telephone pole end over end all day just to spite the Irish...and if I see anyone else wearing a kilt on St. P day they better have their Scottish heritage on hand or they will recieve an old skool beating from a man wearing no panties and blue face paint!
