Joey Deadcat Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Osaka, you know about this? http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/world/...4242799337.html
Slogo Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I suppose it beats their drunk finance minister (covers mouth with both hands and giggles)
TheOsakaKoneko Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Osaka, you know about this? http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/world/...4242799337.html Yeppers, I heard a week or two ago. Crazy Japan. Last year they named Doraemon the first minister of culture. Do you know Doraemon? Once you've got this guy, you may as well get her. Actually, I'm glad they picked Misako. She's actually really awesome. She's a nurse, so pretty respectable outside her frilliness as well. I've been her fan for years. She's like the cutest model ever. I figure actually this isn't too stupid of an idea for Japan. It's about time they realized that their primary export at the moment is not actually automotives or electronics, but pop culture. That said...I hope they remember that the other stuff is pretty important too, and don't sell themselves too short.
Simon Bar Sinister Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I wonder if I can get them to designate my home as a Japanese consulate?
