prick Posted March 22, 2009 Author Posted March 22, 2009 Holy shit, I did the math and yeah apparantly the economy IS down drastically from last summer because for those who plan on going to Official DGN Camping this year....it will only be EIGHT DOLLARS per person, for the weekend. Well, not including cars, but DAMN...that's much cheaper than last year. Not to mention how cheap gas and beer is, we're probably going to have an awesome turn-out this year. I guess in the summer I garden a bunch, that's really the only different thing I do. Oh wait, I get up every morning before God does even and I catch unsuspecting fish on a line so that I may eat them...while drinking beer. Laws of fishing states that the more beer consumed then the more fish the fisherman catches. So that is what I did wrong! I went steelheading saturday morning and didnt get a nibble. I should have remembered the beer.
Destroit Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 So that is what I did wrong! I went steelheading saturday morning and didnt get a nibble. I should have remembered the beer. A-hole, next time you'll know to invite Cher! I think I need to get my license renewed, doesn't that expire March 31st? That's coming up...
Head Wreck Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 normally i'd fill my weekends with overtime, range days and game days. but no to this year. i'm saving all that money on something wonderful. meantime i'm wondering if there's a local hiking group
creatureofthenyte Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I hide from the sun as much as possible. I work alot usually. Hiding in a dark living or bedroom watching tv, or a movie with the a/c blastin, and perhaps a beer.
Slogo Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I hear some complaining about what the big orange dot in the sky will do to their skin. I need to thank my dad for marrying an Italian. I'd like to make a make-shift movie this year
StormKnight (1) Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I am so glad for the hawaiian genetics...

predaking Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 Lets see... [Engine Work+Turbo+Nitrous+Exhaust+Wheels+Tires+Suspention+Composite Work×2 (for my bike & car)]÷2(time spent both riding and driving)=lots of speeding tickets! I cant wait till summer comes!
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I spent most of the day wandering down the beach while the waves washed over my legs. The salt air is calming and the warm gulf waters refreshing to the soul.
Simon Bar Sinister Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 wow... summer??? its supposed to SNOW TONIGHT!!!! no shit!!! I went to the tractor supply company today to pick up some yumms for the piggies and the lady told me there is a winter advisory warning! 2-3 inches tonight and 2-3 more tomorrow! I just hope its a michigan weather report blunder again haha. Most of it's going to melt, so no worries. Btw, welcome - and we have at least one other member from Whitmore Lake...damned if I can remember their f-ing name, though, lol!
Vampyrerin Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I spent most of the day wandering down the beach while the waves washed over my legs. The salt air is calming and the warm gulf waters refreshing to the soul. that sounds amazing. as I look at the snow outside my window.
TitsMcGee Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I normally try to avoid the sun, and when I'm in it I wear SPF 50 billion. BUt I still manage to do a lot during the summer, such as hanging out with my sisters kids and gardening.
asphyxian_doll Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 I work on my body a lot and do less reading....less down time. I watch less TV and if any reading at all, its short term therapy and for spiritual gain. Summer is my healing time. Winter is my regeneration time.
