I was hoping to see more DGN'ers out for this. I'm effecting repairs and got the sound working better last week along with another guy who tweaked the EQ. This week I went around and fixed a lot of the lighting replacing blown out pin-spots on the dancefloor. It's not like I get paid any more for this but I want the night to succeed and to have the equipment work. Davo brought out his DJ rig for the night and we hooked that into the system so things sounded even better than last week. I might have to start taking my own mixer just cause now. It's nice being able to press a cue button and having it stay down.

I also hear that a $3,000 dollar sound system overhaul is in the works as well. Honestly it sounds fantastic as it is and I'm not even pushing my gear at full power.

I also hear that the DJs on the other nights are complaining because we're actually getting things working. Screw those guys they can deal with equipment that actually works for a change :D
