About to try soldering some cogs onto the brass ring I made.  Hopefully I can pull it off without messing it up.  I think it looks ok the way it is but it just isn't steampunk without the cogs.  lol.

What I thought would take about 40 or 50 minuets took an hour and 20 minutes.  That did not got as expected.  So now I'm about to go grab some warm milk and honey and rest my brain.

About to make dinner for everyone.  I didn't plan on it being this late, but I just spent from 1pm to 8pm cleaning an area that I had mistakenly thought had been taken care of prior to me getting to it.  I was terribly wrong.

Deal with my covid-denying, flat-earth believing, loudmouthed, rude brother in law... he'll be here shortly, and he's spending the night so my husband can take him to the airport in the morning.  I'll be SO glad when he's back in Florida.

      Wow, we had a brief power outage on Friday morning and I just now had time to boot my computer back up.  It has been a crazy time, but I did get my vehicle back Friday afternoon and new tires put on it Saturday morning.   After 2 years, finally got the AC repaired and the frame rewelded from last year's "repare".  These guys at Gratiot Auto Center: Chris P., Sevo and Damon...Lifesavers!!!   They used to be called Roseville Auto, but this is a new group because I didn't recognize anyone and they didn't have any records of working on my previous vehicle.  Also, there seems to be 2 shifts of workers because I didn't know anyone there today when I went to have the maintenance light turned off from the service that was completed Saturday.   It was literally like night and day.  Chris P. was laid back and handled things with a steady flow, Minnesota Fats style.  The guy today was rushed and hectic like an extra from Everybody Loves Raymond.
