I think it very well could have been...I cant find a list of ALL the horror that came out in 2008 but from what I remember that came out, nothing stood close aside from maybe cloverfield, but everyone hated that movie aside from me so that one I usually dont mention.

To anyone who enjoys horror, I reccomend this for sure, even though it has predictable parts and some "duh" moments (what horror doesnt these days?) It was great!
