DGN Night @ City Club - April 4th

DGN @ City Club, Saturday, April 4th.

Come. Join us. Meet us. Hang out. We're not that scary in person, really.

Leland City Club

400 Bagley Street

Downtown Detroit

You enter by going through an unmarked door on the First Street side of the Ramada Hotel building, located at 400 Bagley Street in downtown Detroit. The club is at the top of the stairwell. (see picture in the link above in the DGN calendar entry)

All are welcome. Come meet some of us weirdos.

Saturday nights from 10:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Alcoholic drinks until 2:00 a.m., pop and juices served all night.

Admission is $4

18 and up, 21 to drink with proper ID (no exceptions).

No drugs, weapons, chains or spikes.

We've had reports that the CC parking lot will not break $20 bills or larger, so try to bring smaller bills with you.

In case you don't know the "DGN Corner" is to the right of the bar. Currently theres a table, pillar and long narrow wooden table, impossible to miss. Come say hello. If no one is there, stay there, they will show up.

OK, everyone - keep this in mind for April 4th...especially if you're coming in from the north and/or east. MSU's men's basketball team just beat Louisville, which means they're going to the NCAA FINAL FOUR Tournament at Ford Field next weekend. Downtown's going to be jammed beyond belief, so give yourself extra time to get through downtown and find parking.

If i end up driving THERE myself (back is unrealistic) i usually get there massively early so that won't be a problem. Nice heads up though, thanks for taking the time.

I'll be there again this weekend (baring sudden health problems) if I can somehow manage to sort out the drive and/or crash home from/with someone.

Also looking for someone to help man the "DGN corner" up until last call at least for a bit from now on. Helps give newer people a place to find us, and also just a general location for DGNers that want to chat to go meet, rather than scattered all around.

Awww...I'm almost tempted to go now. I really hadn't planned on going out tonight. I'm tired, I need to save money, and I know I have to go to City next weekend, and was wanting to avoid burnout from going 3 weeks in a row. I haven't seen Meg in something like 3 years, though. *ponders*

So, I guess Angel's teeth hurt so she canceled going to Bunarchy so Calix and I are headed out to City Club tonight. Of course it's 10pm now and we still need to grab dinner so we're getting a later start than planned.
