Current location? Southfield

Where from? Royal Oak. I am blessed to own a condo in Royal Oak. I am caregiver for my dad. It was hard for me going back and forth. Living between two places was just hurting my soul. This past weekend, I rented out my condo. I am bless to have a found a great renter. Yes, I wait a long time to rent out, for I had so much going in my cauldron.

Gender? female

Work? Caregiver. I start caregiving for my dad in January of 2007 when he fell on ice. I use to also volunteer at a domestic and sexual abuse shelter for two years. I had to quit the shelter, for it was getting to much with school, work and caregiving. Summer of 2008, my dad health got worse. I went on Family Medical Leave Act first and then later had to quit my job to better take care of my dad. Today, my daddy has good and bad days. My dad is also one of my best friends.

School? studying to go back to get my Masters. An online school is my goal.

Kids? no

Married?no

Single? yes

Hobbies? reading

How Did You Find DGN? web searching

Other Stuff? I just feel left off and have to hide myself a lot. It getting old. So I decide to take the step and join. I am Catholic but I am struggling with my love and beliefs of being Catholic and my love and beliefs of Pagan/Wicca. I just feel so torn between the two.

I thank you all for your warm welcomes. Hugs.

Greetings! And Merrt Meet! And Welcome to DGN!

I just wanted to say that if you love both paths, you can find middle ground between them... some don't choose... its just finding away to meld the two...

Some, more open minded folks, believe that our Lady Goddess is just another face of the Sacred Mother, or Mary, or whatever they all call her. :) good luck. and if you need a witchy ear to talk to, I'm here. :)

Thank you Gothic Raven Goddess for your support. Blessed Be.

hello

I know the feeling about being unsure about your religion. i am a wiccan as well and people tend to frown apoun it. so i have taken to not telling people my religion. wicca is a very misunderstood religion and alot of people are unsure about it. well nice meeting you

blessed be

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
