The convenice of the city I hate that everything is so far away up here in the woods.

Media Play I could wander around that store for at least two hours and most of the time I did...

Gas below 3.00 a gallon.

all my relatives that have passed on.

This is about all I could think of for now...

Hollow point ammo is not illegal. It is encouraged for hunting/personal defense.

Yeah I did some research on it , not sure were I got that from, some dumb asses told me that at some point I think and my dumbass just assumed it was true. (not that I even own a firearm at the moment, keep thinking im going to grab something cheap like a Mossberg 500 or Remmington for HD but it doesn't happen (not that they have anything to do with hollow point ammo) I think the fact that my uncle used to make them sort of made my assumption more "solid" , as in, why bother making them if you can just buy them. I'm guessing now it was just sort of a hobby (hes not alive now so I can't ask him).

I take it the car situation didn't come to fruition.

I forgot about media play, didn't realize the were gone.

Having no borders or barns & noble anywhere within decent driving distance burns my rear. /sniffles

Gas bellow 3.00 a gallon... internet rumors i swear, *shakes head* =P

I miss a lot of ... mushy stuff that I'm not of the mindset to type out at the moment.

Some old friends that I haven't talked to in forever.

Definitely my stomach comes to mind. Teenage years with a room covered in maybe 100 to 200 or more of mostly empty soda cans and 2 liter bottles, going through 11 cans of Vault in a night while playing Halo 2, having the tolerance to chew a pack and a half of Jolt gum without puking. And I suppose the original Pepsi Twist.

I miss my best friend being my best friend and not the fake non best friends we are.

I GUESS THIS IS GROWING UP wah.

I miss being able to think clearly. I'm gonna be one of those old guys who makes no sense.

I heard a rumor about this thinking clearly thing... sounds interesting, not that I know exactly what it means.

But John Goodman could keep you REALLY warm at night. *runs*

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
