YAY!!!!! HAPPY MOTHER"S DAY ALL

Being a Mom is AWESOME.. I was woke up w/ a special gift from Jr Goat.. It was a colorful picture that says #1 Mom award & It has a "poem" on that back that says :

Roses are red,

Sugar is sweet,

and so are your kisses,

and so are you

{not exactly spelled that way :rolleyes: }

& I get french toast for breakfast :happy:

Happy Mother's day to all the good moms and also to all who are like a mom to others. :)

I got some really good chocolate candy, my oldest kid ordered a pizza for us (and paid for it herself, yay) and a card that said

"Hey mom, if I had an extra $1000 you'd get more than just a mother's day card"

and inside it said

"You'd get a postcard from Hawaii!"

heh heh.

Mother's Day is a crock of shite. Go read the April/May issue of Bust Magazine. Page 059. The woman who got this crap started fought to her death to get it stopped. Seems that you can't stop Hallmark and the Devil Retail Machine!

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

      Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍
