ALRIGHT PEOPLE

Tell me the best place to get clothes for a few bucks

ALSO

If it's just good for adults

OR

If a parent, your fave places for kids

I just thought this would be a nice thread for people to share

you can get some great threads at estate sales sometimes. I went with a female friend to one, and the woman who died had shitloads of '50s-'60s era animal print clothes. a bit too short for my friend to fit into, though.

St. Vincent's resale/thrift in Waterford (Elizabeth Lk Rd 1/4 mile west of Telegraph) is supposed to be really good, too.

I had a friend work at Sunshine Thrift in high school and said that they had to display EVERYTHING they got...even dildos. I laughed hard.

I was in Plymouth earlier tonight and I saw a flyer for a Presbyterian Thrift Shop. It's downtown somewhere.

Value Worlds always have the best and MOST stuff.

I<3 thrift stores.

Oh and btw, Estate sales are almost ALWAYS pricey, and the items are usually very old.
