Dgn Night Aftermath - July 11, 2009

given that VNV Nation announced from the stage that they were going to CC after their gig, I expected it to be way more crowded than it was. Then again, I didn't get to CC 'til 2:30 or so. it was really fun for the hour or so that I was there.

I spent more time on the dance floor than I usually do, actually dancing. It was reasonable. Then the crowd from the concert came in. I was dancing with Osaka and her friends along with this rather interesting blonde in her group. Then Osaka and company informed me who said blonde was.

As you can tell by my shock, I really, *really* need to see more concerts. Though the irony of her dancing to her own music in the was indeed most humorous.

The crowd was reasonable most of the night, though I did sense the people density increase as the post-concert crowd came in.

Didn't stay too long after showing up from VNV. E and I were way tired. Nice to talk to a few folks and get a little dancing in, though. :-)

I wish she wasn't still gonna be on tour in 2 weeks...I'm heading to Toronto for Mode and it would have been so crazy cool to see her at the club there after the show. ><

I had a great time. The vnv concert was better than expected. I was pretty tipsy on the way to CC after that. I didn't run into many DGNers I recognize. I saw Nienna at the concert, ran into a couple of others at the club, saw Mark eating at City Bites on my way inside but didn't get to talk. It was a really good night for me. I talked to Ronan for like 20 minutes or so and that made me very happy.

Like I said, I felt like I missed meeting just about everyone there; part of this may be due to the fact that I'm mostly present on the boards... and as of late, even here, not so much. I *would* like to do some sort of meet-up around here some time, like maybe on Tuesdays at the Painted Lady. They're generally showing some sort of old movie, but people can still hear themselves talk, get drinks at a more DECENT price than at City Club, and even order in some food, if so desired.

Than again, there are more of you than there are of me, so there you have it.

I was there. Got in around 1:45 and was gone by 2:30. Between feeling sick and pulled muscles I wasn't having much fun. Sorry I didn't stop by the DGN corner or talk to anyone. I did see Osaka though. In fact I'm pretty sure I met her at drag queen bingo a few months ago...

I was there and I did some stuff with some people. Concert was awesome but I expended all my energy there so I was a bit out of it at the club. Still had fun though. After all, it was boob night. Yay boobies!!!

Rented a room for my b-day, had lots of people hang out, had a blast, got hit on by one to many white polo shirt wearing asshats though.... Only real tragedy of the night was that Rev and Melinda and a few of my other favs weren't there.. Oh and thanks to all the great people who kept my cup over flowing!

Oh and the greatest part was getting my co-worker Joe to come hang out for a while.. LOL Got some great pics..
