Torchwood: Children of Earth is a miniseries that ran in the UK about 3 weeks ago; it just wrapped up on BBCAmerica FRiday night. It might be the last hurrah for the series; it apparently was supposed to be, but the huge ratings in the UK has the creators wondering...

I watch Torchwood...near religiously ('cause of Dr.Who)...though, I only saw 2-5 of the mini-series...I was planning on watching the whole thing today when they replay it as a set (we totally did not even know it was on Monday & Tuesday, but they played 2 & 3 Wednesday.)

the last half of episode 4 was revoltingly realistic. that would be pretty much how any government on earth would make it go down.
