Reaper Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Just a couple of photos of a company from Caldwell, OH outside of Cleveland that was doing a mass move into mexico. Even some of the mexicans on the border were telling me that even THEY are losing jobs to companies packing up and moving to central america and china where expenses are dirt cheap. I'm not sure how these companies expect to sell anything when good portion of america will be jobless and can't buy anything anyway. These 2 photos show 3 trailers full of equipment along with more that was on the dock that I did not photograph. Its just a damn shame.

Msterbeau Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Sooner or later both consumers and businesses will realize that jobs need to stay here in order for some level of prosperity to continue. That will mean accepting higher prices on goods from the higher manufacturing costs. I hate to think what what will happen if we get in a major dispute with either of these regions and they shut off access to the plants that manufacture all our goods.
