Homicidalheathen Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 Ok so I have had a few guy friends who were cross dressers and we used to call each other before we went out to compare outfits. I have not dressed 'like' my pal for the night since high school. And this can be a major problem for a menopausal woman out with a guy around her age, with her haircut and style dress ok? It is so NOT helping my game. How do I bring this up without hurting his feelings? He really thinks of himself as my brother. personally get irritated by someone stealing my er fire. Or copying it so that I look um more freakish than I already do which is plenty.
AstralCrux Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 You guys need to work on the word "wingman." Try to make it fun to come up with outfits that should help you both attract people, without looking like the wonder-twins.
Simon Bar Sinister Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 (edited) too late. might as well get matching Grease satin jackets. and matching perms. Edited September 8, 2009 by SpammerOvTheGods
Oh_My_Goth Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 I would just bring it up.. Don't be shy about it. If this person is your friend, then they will be cool with it Thankfully nobody wants to copy my style
AstralCrux Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 I wish i had a style. LOL Wanna go shopping? I can help you find several. Ask PrettyStar1Sky...
jynxxxedangel Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 (edited) If anyone wants to copy my bohemian greaser bag-lady look...I dare them to try to find clothes that match mine. If they do, they'll end up paying dearly for them, from an outrageously-priced boutique. Never, but NEVER give away your best clothes shopping sources. If you are fond of vintage, only tell the friends who wear a bigger or smaller size than you, who also don't want to compete with other friends for the good clothing in their size. creatureofthenyte Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 What ever happened to: "Imitation is the highest form of flattery" ? Life is too short to raise a fuss over such a superfluous detail.
