Evening everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself. Name's Chris. I just moved back this way from Detroit after spending a long time in what I sincerely believe must be hell (Grand Rapids). Nice to meet anyone I haven't talked to yet.

Kids? Hell no...would kill myself if I ever had any...I hate kids.

Hobbies? Depends on the moment...I enjoy hitting up whatever concerts I can...still waiting for Rammstein's happy asses to actually make an effort to tour the US...love going to art galleries and museums...reading...writing...basically doing whatever I want

actually, parts of GR are pretty cool - got some good bars up on leonard. i've seen some kickass bands there...

Indeed it does. I felt out of place in GR. The "music" scene out there I found was a joke from my perspective. Most of the fans consisted of extremely wealthy kids and people my age making complete asses of themselves by doing something called "hardcore dancing". I just found it depressing. Thanks for the welcome.

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
