Homicidalheathen Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Grab a ghetto parka (hefty bag with hole cut in bottom) and go! 248-545-5545
DJ Nocker Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 I saw Evil Dead The Musical in Toronto about a year and a half ago, it was fun, but the need for a garbage bag to cover yourself is not as needed as they make it out to be... First off, you have to be in what they call "The Splatter Zone" (those seats cost more BTW)for the blood to hit you. And they only use about 6 plastic cups worth of blood to hit the audience with through out the show. Its a great time regardless though, Ill probably go see it again.
Homicidalheathen Posted November 14, 2009 Author Posted November 14, 2009 I will be in Royal Oak tonight and Monday night to see this with my rain parka on and a towel. Really don't get out much these days so if you want to hang out with me and the evil offspring walk up and say HI, this is our bday celebration may go to coney after on main. will be there monday night as well with catseye. hope to see you there. 25-10 bucks 8pm 22742 woodward ferndale ringwald theater
n0Mad Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Might be a fun show to see but I won't go to the Ringwald in Ferndale to see it. They never paid me for the fight choreography I did for "Fatal Attraction: A Greek Tragedy" and they lost one of my quarterstaffs.
Homicidalheathen Posted November 15, 2009 Author Posted November 15, 2009 It rocked. totally. I got drenched to. Good vocals (and legs) on some of those women! I hear it will be playing at the majestic next.
taysteewonderbunny Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Yes. I, too, noticed them gams. Still, they should have coughed up the dough for Spook's fight choreography. I had a good time and was thoroughly drenched. Overall, the pluses: the girls are pretty, the jokes are steady, you don't need to shower before the show. Minuses: fight choreography was slow and clumsy which I suppose is fitting for zombies but it still didn't pass, there's a much better way to make "blood" that won't permanently stain clothing and doesn't look like weak Kool-Aid, you pretty much have to be a fan of the series to get the jokes.
