PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Plymouth Township Police and the FBI arrested a 32-year-old man on child porn charges.

Nicholas Cymes of Plymouth Township was indicted on 1 count of receiving and possession of child pornography. He is a resident of the Plymouth Hills Mobile Home Park.

Police say Cymes also confessed to the sexual assault of a young child he was babysitting. Charges are pending in the assault case.

The Plymouth Township Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in this investigation. They are trying to determine if there are any other potential victims of sexual assault.

There is a person who has 3 2nd degree sexual misconduct convictions, living RIGHT ON MY STREET. How this guy continues to walk free in society, is beyond my reckoning.

There is a person who has 3 2nd degree sexual misconduct convictions, living RIGHT ON MY STREET. How this guy continues to walk free in society, is beyond my reckoning.

(i would keep in mind that not all offenders do those types of things. You can be on the sex offender list for simply urinating on the street or on the side of the road. I would def be careful around all of them just in case though)

Yeah, the guy on my street has committed offenses against children under the age of 12. THREE OF THEM. Ain't that nice? How is it that these criminals don't rot in jail?!

same all around they world, i'm afraid....cept there it's either not as illegal, the age of consent is different, or there is a huge lack of care on the part of the law. You think there are less events of child molestation or sexual predators in Belgium or Russia? No, there are not, it's just nowhere near as exposed as it is here in the US. We should consider ourselves lucky that we live in a country where at least such acts of evil are given this degree of exposure, seriousness, and penalty.

I know of a few people whom are on the offenders list because of things like this, also some that are their cause 18yr old johnny dated 15yr old annie broke up with her, broke her heart and mommy decideds to press charges... Yes be weary and protect our children but dont be so quick to judge. I also know someone whom was wrongly accused :/ our system sucks.... and they also can not live within a 1000 feet of a school... so Darknight you can call and report him if need be....
