Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I am just wondering what other think about this new information or if you have even read about it.
Rev.Reverence Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 As a scientist, I feel, that there is no way that we puny humans could concievably understand the 'flow' of climate shift, & it's patterns, or norms. (So, I don't keep up with the tally-whackin'-fake-scientists...who REALLY, just want to make decent money.)
Msterbeau Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 I've read a little. I get the feeling that there *might* be some ethics violations but that more likely is that people who don't really understand how things work (And don't work within that research center, thus knowing the personal dynamics, etc) are cherry picking info to make it look far worse then it is.

I have to agree, for the most part I am reserving judgement. What has my attention more than the emails are the data models and code used to interprit it. I don;t know if you have read anything ont hat yet or not as it just started being talkeda bout last night... but from what i have read on that there has been an on goibng effort to get thier climate data models to produce the results they claim that it already gave... as in major data manipulation to get a wanted result. Other programmers are looking at the leaked data sets and it's a complete mess.
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted November 25, 2009 Author Posted November 25, 2009 I have no idea what anyone is talking about. Oh. Some hackers broke into a Uni server where much of the Global warming data was kept. They downloaded a shit load of it and posted it online. Some people are pretty upset about what you can find in that data. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/jamesdelingpole/100017393/climategate-the-final-nail-in-the-coffin-of-anthropogenic-global-warming/ http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2009/nov/24/hiding-evidence-of-global-cooling/
