jynxxxedangel Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I don't know what to say. This is just terrible news.
Destroit Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Oh that's horrible, I just had to go through the same thing this summer and it's the hardest thing. At least you got to have him in your life as long as you did, 14 years is a pretty decent span for a kitteh, and that you gave him the great life he had. *hugs*
Onyx Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 I'm so sorry :( I'm glad he wasn't alone though and had what comforts that the vet could provide him.
Oh_My_Goth Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 max passed on this morning about 9:30. condensed version: upper resp. infection, led to not eating/drinking, which led to other complications, and ultimately renal (kidney) failure. the vet was with him, but i didn't get to say goodbye. third holiday with a death on it now, only x-mas & i'll have the complete set. at least i'll now be able to bury his & his sister's ashes together. happy thanksgiving. bye max... Sorry for your loss {{HUGZ}} On this day of the Thanksgiving time you can be thankful he is not suffering now.. Much love to you, Sir
Guest Megalicious Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 It is so hard to lose furry children I'm sorry for you loss....
creatureofthenyte Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 (edited) I'm sorry When I had to have my cat put down, I did get a chance to say good bye. That was good and bad. She knew where she was, and why. I had to look into her eyes....she knew what was coming. I'm sorry.. Edited November 27, 2009 by creatureofthenyte
Tyger Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 I'm sorry for your loss. I haven't had to put down a cat yet (even though I might have to soon) but I have had to put down my dog. I know how you are feeling. Max is in a better place now tho, where ever little furry things go, there without pain but with love. I hope things get better for you.
