article...

Under a Supreme Court ruling, the so-called endangerment finding is needed before the EPA can regulate carbon dioxide and five other greenhouse gases released from automobiles, power plants, and factories under the federal Clean Air Act.

ok, everyone... STOP BREATHING!!!

I can't hold my breath for that long... :no ...but I will install a three stage CO2 scrubbing system on my lungs as soon as I can...

And despite the major effort in trying to rid the world of GHGs they have yet to take any action against ethanol...

So, I need live house plants? How many do I need to make sure I'm not polluting?

I'm gonna quote the EPA and California here..."Just kill yourself...but make sure your corpse doesn't pollute"

What this really means is that the government is trying to bs us into believing that Somehow, boning us into bankruptcy, by taxing us to death, and making us live in caves(cuz that's all we'll be able to afford to live in, after they get done taxing all our money away)is Somehow going to make the environment, and Our lives better.

Hopefully, next year, enough of us will have the good sense to vote those country bankrupting Democrats out office while we still can.

Because if we don't, then that would be one "I told ya so!" that I hope I never have to utter.

Maybe I will install a nuclear reactor in my basement so I can heat my house without making Co2. Does anyone know if a nuclear reactor is safe?

Try RTGs. They power all our deep space probes, have no moving parts, and are designed to be safe enough to survive a rocket blowing up around them.

you know, the thing that really got to me about this, the main reason i posted it was...

how the fuck can you have something declared harmful to humans, wehn it's something that the human body naturally expels!? are you people (politicians) insane?

No, but they are mad. Mad with power and greed. This whole climate change/Global warming is one huge scam to make certain people richer. They (those pushing the idea) have been rather open about using fear and some are even open that they are over stating the "science" that backs thier claims. Now we find that some of the base figures could have been altered and the base data has been destroyed. Let me ask you this. Why won't NASA release thier base climate data even though they were ordered to to so by the Courts under a Freedom of Information Act request three years ago?

...I know what I said; that is all :p I see patterns.

...so, C.O.T.N. :

Whom are we supposed to vote for? Republicans? Have you seen the way they act?

..not enough peoples are going third.

I don't know who we are "sopposed" to vote for... I do know that I am not voting for anyone who doesn't publically admit to at least a small amount of doubt about "climate change".

There is a 2000 scientist concensus that Global Warming is real and Man made...

There is also a 30,000 scientist consesus that says it is not.

Unless they acknowledge that fact, they wont get my vote.

That seems like a pretty good star to steer by, I must say!

I am sure what we contribute is nothing compared to mounds and mounds of dinosaur poo...

Thirds are not immune to the "green" bug either...it seems like a flag that suits love to fly no matter what...it makes you look good.

The only green flag that politicians like to fly is the U.S. Dollar flag.

My understanding of why the EPA made this declaration is so that the government has a basis upon which to regulate the artificial production of CO2. It may seem silly to declare it harmful, since (as aforementioned) pretty much every living thing on earth expels some carbon dioxide (even plants expel a little bit), but it gives the US government a starting to point to put pressure on big polluters to draw down their CO2 levels.

yeah, i get that it's an end-around, but it just irked me. i mean, hell, water is harmful to humans too, depending, but i don't see anyone making the same declaration about it, yanno!? (and don't even try to bring up dihydrogen monoxide!!) it was just the "1st impression" absurdity that got to me.

But.. there is no scientific proof that CO2 is a pollutant.

It doesn't matter that this is all a hoax, they fudged the data to support their bogus claims, as a means to bankrupt us through taxation.

I'm thinking I'm going to be moving to AZ, soon! Can't wait! I friggin' love it here! The heat doesn't bother me at all and the best part? NO SNOW!!! (S.N.O.W. - Shit  No One Wants)   Been staying in Bullhead City where the kids and grandkids live. Next, we're going to the wife's cousin's which is a ways North of Kingman, in the middle of nowhere, where we actually plan to move.   I really like Bullhead. It's a nice little town. Not overcrowded like Colorado Springs has become, at all. Very light traffic, reasonable prices on everything, low taxes, etc. The river offers a lot to do, with a lot of beaches and campgrounds all around it.   But yeah even though we've been over 110º-115º F just about every day,  I can handle it!  What I can't handle anymore, is snow and being cold. Just tired of it. Give me the desert over a blizzard any day!

Nope, we wasn't doing anything. I didn't want to go by myself.  I ended up doing karaoke here. It would of been a perfect day to go, though.
