I'm saddened by this. I was looking forward to the day I could travel to U of Colorado and shoot unsuspecting people with my nerf gun.

I dunno, I can understand this...if a nut case went on a rampage with a real gun, which happens often enough...and everyone is running around doing this with painted nerf guns, you might not notice as easy and get shot.

Do it in a designated area at a designated time or something not all over the campus all the time.

There is a need to vent before the final crush on finals. "The hell with finals" events that pop up like this make for a good vent and minor distraction before the crunch time begins. It has been going on for at least the last 20 years or so. I have seen mindsnap from the stress, and finals are a bad time for this to happen.
