i have an irregular heart beat....have experienced this. Loud bass at a certain bpm seems to trigger it. I ALWAYS carry acoustic ear plugs.

This DOES happen. Don't laugh.

and the earplugs are not always enough sometimes I have to leave the area...I can feel it through my whole body just...I hate to sound like mom, but with this and the torn eardrum...

That's really unfortunate that that guy didn't even have a chance to see a paramedic before he died.

I've been at concerts and felt the loud bass hitting me inbetween my rib cages and I would feel uneasy after a while. On one occasion I even felt a bit sick from it so I tend to keep a distance from loud bass frequencies.

i loooove body-thumping bass. actually feels really good to me.

and btw, i'd been looking for that "experiment IV" song for years! this is the first time my google search turned it up! YaY!!
