taysteewonderbunny Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 (edited) You know you have them too: those weird projects you were so motivated to begin but did not complete. I dare you to brush the dust off a couple of their desiccating corpses and prop them up here, posed for a second life. I'll start: Childishness want touch on me a breaker wall to loneliness the seeker of an empty hand I've not forgotten what it was to be wanted more than consequence could recall it was out of your empty palm a balm given me I gave myself to gift to you a gift to me more available than vacancy and closer than the dispersion of your liquescent breath. In my defense, I think I had a fever. Edited January 15, 2010 by taysteewonderbunny

I think it's something that'll have to wait until retirement to see completion. Oh, wait, I'm not a baby boomer; I don't get to retire... Edited January 15, 2010 by Nightgaunt
pomba gira Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 My two never-finished screenplays are a bit long to post here... maybe I'll share a few excerpts.

Simon Bar Sinister Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 You know you have them too: those weird projects you were so motivated to begin but did not complete. what was that intended to be? I can reassemble some of that into 3 or 4 lines that would sing quite well.

Funny you should say. I was, in fact, suffering from pneumonia at the time, but it was sort of a chant, an exercise in cadence. I can't read it without singing it.
Simon Bar Sinister Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 touch on me, loneliness amidst plenty, empty handed I've not forgotten, seeker what it was you wanted far more than you will ever recall my gift to you, your gift to me ...well, that's a first pass. don't be surprised if you find out you've collaborated with me on a new song

Destroit Posted January 16, 2010 Posted January 16, 2010 Still working on my three novels after all these years. They were deleted by Boshy on accident TWICE and I had to start allll over again, but this time I have been smart and writing them down, then typing them, THEN saving them in several places.

I would go NUTS if someone deleted my stuff. I started rewriting my novels as well, but that was out of personal choice.
Class-Punk Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 You know you have them too: those weird projects you were so motivated to begin but did not complete. I dare you to brush the dust off a couple of their desiccating corpses and prop them up here, posed for a second life. I had something sort of like a children's book, but I was only going to work on it while stoned. Anyways I'm abandoning it here. She had always wanted to go to the castle that seemed to hover between its dilapidated sister and newfound brother. The structure in the middle was different, older and more mysterious. All three enormous structures bordered the end of a quaint town where mist rose round their visible beginnings. The castle on the left was falling apart, adventurous, and dangerous. The castle on the right had risen just a few years ago from the sea somehow on its own, now a refuge for outlaws. But the structure in the middle was a maze with a myth behind it; the last source of magic in the world was said to reside here. Whatever it was, this mythological artifact was said to spread untold power throughout the world. Though most didn’t believe in magic and that such an artifact was not real. The town before the structures was a mixture of people living in prosperity and few dared enter the castles.
Fierce Critter Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 The intention: start an Etsy site selling hand sculpted clay figurines, mostly of cats and the like. The initiation: Made 3 and they came out awesome. That was about a year ago. I have recently cleaned up an area that is serving as my "studio." It got sidetracked for some Christmas projects, and needs some re-organizing. But I'm back on Wellbutrin now and already seeing positive effects. So I should be pushing the clay again soon.
