Hip Hop is the devil?

So I have been hearing rumors about this preacher that has been saying Hip Hop artists, Jay Z, Beyonce, and Rihanna among others, are satanists and apart of some secret society. I thought I would look up the information. This is a link of some dude analyzing Rihanna's Umbrella video. They claim these songs can be played backwards and, as a result, hidden satanic messages are being heard. Hmm, well I guess someone found a new Genre to pick on.

Well I personally think that a lot of hip hop is degrading to women and promotes a criminal lifestyle, but I highly doubt it's satanic.

Shitty music? Yes...when its 90% computer generated and played off as something real I could maybe see it as Satanic. Jesus would be a person that records music that sounds the same live or on CD...Satan would trick you with recorded music and then you would see his ugly, untalented, over produced live performance where your head would explode.

Its funny to see what music is satanic...the basic rules I pick up from videos like this pretty much make all music satanic. Symbols have TOTALLY lost their place in the world today and if someone doesn't fully understand a symbol (All seeing eye, swastika, stars with various numbers of points and sides, etc...) it automatically becomes evil, racist, blah blah blah. So yeah, the problem with music is that what makes it happen and what it contains does not come across to everyone...therefore it is satanic.

Hip Hop today isn't Satanic...but it is a FAR cry from what gave birth to it. People really understood the music back then or at least did a good job of faking it. Hip Hop and rap have become completely different animals that tore away from their leashes...if it were in the interest of the artists expanding themselves or bringing their listeners together in a good way there would be no problem...but I do not see that trend happening. What started off as a good thing has turned into a whirlwind or shit...money, drugs, whores, crime...its not entirely based on that but it is heavily laced with it and it seems that it is unrestricted when it comes to kids.

All that being said...that song alone just makes me want to punch myself in the face...shit where is my death metal folder in media player I need some cleansing!
