The risque Air New Zealand campaign, shows a so-called cougar "starving itself on sparse vegetation during the day then hunting large slabs of meat at night" by stalking a young man at a bar.

Despite the man's attempts to ward off the woman's advances, the cougar has "not tasted fresh meat for days" and drags her prey to an inner-city flat often forcing them to listen to "Enya or the Eurythmics".

According to a voiceover on the spoof documentary, the women, aged in their 30s, 40s and 50s, routinely prey on men in their 20s, many who "pretend to be gay" to avoid them.

The promotion encourages women aged over 35 to send in photographs of themselves out on the town with their "cougar mates".

Hrmmm... well, being a female of cougar age, heh heh, I seem to have the opposite experience. Some young guys seem to want to prey on me at times.

(have to admit tho, one particular one was just way too tempting and so I do find myself with a yummy young fella).

With that said, it's completely politically incorrect, but I think it's pretty damn funny too. I wish everyone would just lighten up.

I'm afraid to tell a joke anymore for fear of offending some group or another.

Dude they are out there...but if you want to meet one I would suggest playing injured and staying away from the protection of your friends...they tend to be attracted by brightly colored shirts and visible chest hair too.

Hilarious... people need to lighten up. I somehow doubt people would be as offended by an ad showing some geezer pursuing young chicks.

What, me & HH don't count? Just 'cos I'm not out cruising the bars every weekend doesn't mean I don't appreciate the occasional stud puppy. Especially ones with fun hardware :p

I believe that to be considered a Cougar it must be a full time profession...doesn't mean you still can't hunt but the title is usually reserved for the nightly hunter of young pups.

Never said you had to turn it in...just gotta go fill your bag limit...deer season may be short but its open season on young pups all year round and last time I check cougars don't need to get a license.
