Oh yeah that's right.... I don't like Marlyn Manson because he is popular... not because he is a rip off of Alice Cooper... thats why I only like underground bands like Rush, Pink Floyd, and Depeche Mode....

Ewww! rush and pink floyd?

I however now know that all my 80s music is good with many of you for even the King of Manfast Chernobyl approved We built this city. I am also a fan of many 80s power rock and hair bands.

Yeah...lived the 80's. Back when popular music was actually tolerable. I could probably spin a good 80's/goth history set.

Manson is popular? I thought his stuff has been panned for a while by the community.

My music tends to be eclectic, but one of the things that most of my music has is a strong melody. I have never been into just a rhythm-heavy songs as much as I am in to the lyrical flowing of a good melody. D&B is lost on me for the most part.

My favorites also tend to be complex and layered instrument wise. I still think of music in conductor's scores, where I mentally break the song down into individual instruments and where they come in. One of the reasons I listen to classical music.

Want to get my attention musicially? Find songs with a good melody with some depth of instruments.

To be honest I don't know if it is a guilty pleasure or the fact that I straight up love this song, but "Judith" by A Perfect Circle really gets my blood flowing. Is APC jock rock?

RUSH rocks and pink floyd. I am guilty of liking Linkin park and My Chemical Romance. so what I dont care what you think. I dont care if people think they are EMO and nu metal or whatever or if they even are EMO. Thing is I listened to their music and I liked it. I seen their live shows and loved them. I have no shame in that. I thought the black parade album had some pretty cool songs in it and I think Gerard Way is a great artist not just as a musician but he also does alot of the design work for the band merch, album covers, posters and and I love his graphic comics The Umbrella Acadamy. before he was in a band he was working for cartoon network and aspiring to have his own animated series.

Heh, my most common city club shirts are my pink floyd - dark side of the moon shirt or my beattles - abbey road shirt. Just because there basically the only black tshirts I have atm. Part of me actually enjoys the reaction surprising people with the shit I listen to.

      Mostly, we're not sure if we're going to keep it and Snowbird to AZ in the Winter and come back to CO for the heat of the summer, but eventually I think we will live in AZ full time. For now the property in CO is always going up in value so the longer we hold onto it, the more it'll be worth, if we ever choose to sell.   For now we have the option to stay at her cousin's and an option to buy a chunk of the 250 acres they bought. Our ranch in CO also needs a new well - a huge investment - so we're trying to decide if we want to fix the well at a cost of 50-100k, or just buy more land from her cousin. Either way will be good, though! Pretty much can't go wrong buying land, these days. Well, depending on the area of course, but out here, land just keeps going up in price, never down , so there's that..   Also it will take years to move our ranch, if we choose to move it all. I figure at least 3 or 4 of the biggest Penske truck loads, and that's conservative and if we broke everything down into pieces and packed the trucks like Tetris 🤣

      ~~~~~ Wow.  I hope that works out for you.  Will you be moving your ranch there?
