Destroit Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 (edited) Started roughly in the beginning of 2000, although there is no official date listed, this was the internet meme that started the internet meme phenomenon of awesomeness: Ten years later, it is STILL 100% awesome. Enjoy ! Edited February 17, 2010 by Chernobyl
Msterbeau Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 While that is quite funny, indeed. This is even more so: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBsm2HiLubY
n0Mad Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Ah yes ... those were the days when people had to spend countless hours on Photoshop to make a funny image and not simply caption a kitty.

Yes, back when the internet peeps were good at keepin' it realz. I can't believe it's been TEN years...wtf! This makes me want to fart dust out of oldness, and yet, I'm only 24. It blows my mind how young I am but how much shit has already gone by. Edited February 17, 2010 by Chernobyl

Are you serious? There's some amazing stuff on YouTube and other sources that has a ton of time and effort in it.
n0Mad Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Are you serious? There's some amazing stuff on YouTube and other sources that has a ton of time and effort in it. There is. And there's a ton of stuff that doesn't. In the past decade, I think the standards have gone down. Then again, the bar has also been raised.
Msterbeau Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 There is. And there's a ton of stuff that doesn't. In the past decade, I think the standards have gone down. Then again, the bar has also been raised. The quantity of stuff out there is far higher then before, too. The tools to make stuff have gotten a lot easier to make/use. That means non-creatives (ie. creative dunces) put all kinds of crap out there. Signal to noise has gone down. But the best stuff is far better then before.
