It's National Geographic....I think their ABOVE using such drastic image editing for headlines.

It's possible, if there is a genetic flaw in his pigmentation.

Plus if it does come up photoshopped, does anyone realize what that does for NG's reputation?

I always thought because of the cold and starvation they suffer to raise their offspring that penguins should be goth...here is living proof.

I said it "looked" fake, not that it was fake. I admire National Geographic, and I would hope that they would research their information fully before putting anything like that in print.

It doesn't change the fact that it still "looks" fake to me. Lots of things look fake to me that are not.......

That was actually directed at his father, via a text message from his sister's phone when his father said he wasn't allowed to have a pet penguin.

I was in class when I saw that FB post... I showed it to my cohort-mates and they were all just as tickled as I was.
