taysteewonderbunny Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 ...not your Heaven...Your haven... I know, but where else would one best take sanctuary?
Simon Bar Sinister Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 (edited) really, as long as I have a guitar in my hands, everything's chill no matter where I am. I'd really love to have my guitar in my hands here, though: Edited March 19, 2010 by SpammerOvTheGods
Rev.Reverence Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I know, but where else would one best take sanctuary? ..I'm not gonna' get into the whole testifying thing today..to busy.. ...see my video response in this thread...
n0Mad Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I don't believe in an afterlife, but if I did, I would swear that heaven touches Earth somewhere in the Appalachians. Last time we drove the Blue Ridge Parkway, I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Several times.
Hellion Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 The tube mill in South Lyon I have yet to explore this place, grew up not far from here
DJ Nocker Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 The Haven is one of Lillie's clubs. It is a haven, a neutral ground where clans must restrain any rivalries and at least pretend to respect one another. People come to The Haven to experience the exciting music of burgeoning talent and to immerse themselves in an atmosphere that cannot quite be defined. With its sensuous atmosphere and stirring music, the club attracts the wealthy, the lonely, the pleasure-seeking -- Kindred and human alike, and they arrive in limousines, by motorcycle, and even on foot. Maybe some even fly. Damn spook, I was hoping someone would post this, figures it would be you, hah
n0Mad Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Damn spook, I was hoping someone would post this, figures it would be you, hah I'm glad someone finally got the reference. Only you.
Saint Germain Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 (edited) And probably Chernobyl if I ever got to go there: looks like East Berlin Edited March 22, 2010 by Saint Germain
Ice Queen (1) Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 My haven: http://fetishcon.com My other havens: 1)held tightly by strong arms in an embrace against a very well defined and bare chest while I quiver in a state of ecstasy. 2)in rope 3)Outdoors in beautiful weather, watching the girls play and hearing them laugh.
prick Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 So many to choose from but here are a few. My uncles farm, The general Houghton lake area, The kewenaw peninsula, North bay Ontario,
Shaun Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 (edited) My bedroom, with the world shut out. Or on my motorcycle somewhere. Edited May 24, 2010 by Shaun
Epic_Fail_Guy Posted May 24, 2010 Posted May 24, 2010 when i was around, city club. And trixies coffee (if that place is still in business?) And usually, I could find my haven anyplace as long as I had a nice blunt that would let me blcok out my surroundings and focus on myself internally.
taysteewonderbunny Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 And trixies coffee (if that place is still in business?) No, sadly, it's not.
Musashi Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 My room in the dark with the world far, far away. And the beach near my house. Private, tiny, sandy beach. Very zen in the sun with the dandelions covering the lake. On the dance floor with a beautiful woman.
lordkraven Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 oddly enough i would have to say my haven and sanctuary would have to be the place that i work or a masoleum in indiana called purgatory either would be satisfactory as a place to relax
Joey Deadcat Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 Labyrinth, Lager House, and 2500 were once havens.
lordkraven Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 another nice way for me to relax is on my harley davison fatboy doing about 90 on a deserted open road
prick Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 when i was around, city club. And trixies coffee (if that place is still in business?) And usually, I could find my haven anyplace as long as I had a nice blunt that would let me blcok out my surroundings and focus on myself internally. I was a Trixies regular untill they closed. I still have my Trixies t shirt. Wonder if we ever met?
dragonluv Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 One of them is the library. It is always a fun treat going there.
torn asunder Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 believe it or not, as much as i complain about this P.O.S. house (and it *is* a P.O.S.), sitting on my deck this spring has become a haven for me, especially in the morning when there's a mist still hovering over the water & i get to watch the birds, muskrats, chipmonks, etc. start their day; or at dusk, when the moon is out and the bats come out to feed - they're so fun to watch! (i've counted up to 7 individual bats here so far.)
Soulrev Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 Such a great view from up there.. That's at about 8,000 feet elevation. On Gold Camp Rd. in Colorado Springs. I call it my "Rock Throne" heh.
Simon Bar Sinister Posted July 16, 2010 Posted July 16, 2010 I didn't take this pic, but I've been here: ...and, unlike these chickenshits, I stood right on the edge (you're looking out onto the Atlantic Ocean) with the wind rushing up the wall and blowing my hair back. :D
Hollywood Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 A room with one-a few people I know and can trust, some good music and a few drinks. Could not be better.
scyko_kitty Posted July 17, 2010 Posted July 17, 2010 i do not have a photo of it but when ever I am extreamly stressed out I will beg my friend to take me out on his Motorcycle, it was one of the must relaxing things to me. the vibration of the bike, the sound of the engian... Its just so relaxing to me, and he will take me to place that have a lot of lovely nature also, That I would have to say is my Haven
