Simon Bar Sinister Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I recently finished reading a book called "Endless Universe: beyond the Big bang" that goes into a fair amount of detail on M theory. If you liked this article, try to find that book.
Nate Kriepp Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 That is one of the coolest things I have seen all year. I second that. I myself suspect that god is sucking on the end of the universe with a giant straw (to get the tasty planets that he likes), but that's just me!

Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 I don't get why they think it's being "tugged". Gravity doesn't actually "pull" on things... everything else "pushes" toward a gravitational mass. It is making me think and a few rather interesting thoughts are coming to mind.

I have heard that there is a tendency for objects that are close to gravitate and for space to expand faster and faster when objects are far away...
