Simon Bar Sinister Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 watching this was a spiritual experience for me: maybe it will be for you, as well.
Epic_Fail_Guy Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 This was quite enlightening in a way... Man I gotta find that concept of divine numbers somewhere... something is seeming pretty damn similar and relevant to this video..
taysteewonderbunny Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 This was quite enlightening in a way... Nah, just get yourself a bowlful of honey covered ants and watch Pi again.
Epic_Fail_Guy Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I've never seen Pi... I did a quick overview of divine numbers a long while ago because it looked somewhat interesting and i vaguely remember something about math that might have been similar to this in creating snail shells, and how it slowly would spawn to more complex life, and such that all things of ordered composition (such as life) all share the basic principal of this one equation of how they're formed/made/created. I didn't get too in depth with studying it due to a busy life but this makes me wonder if it's relevant and i might just dig this subject up again for my own personal curiosities.
n0Mad Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Q. What is a mathematician's favorite food? A. Fibonachos.
torn asunder Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Q. What is a mathematician's favorite food? A. Fibonachos. i was gonna mention the fibonacci sequence in the beginning of that video! anyone who digs that video, really needs to see PI - after the first time i saw it, i had to go out & by it, it's an amazing piece of work!

Epic_Fail_Guy Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 damn wow torn... thankyou.. i gotta find that movie now, that looks realllly awesome... i don't even know why this is so intreguing.. is it just because everything seems to be linked by the same mathmatical patterns? It kinda reminds me of our own man made math code. The binary code. Virtually the atomic building blocks for everything we see in our virtual world from the internet, to videogames, to music, movies, anything electronic anymore really. Carbon based life has the fibonacci sequence silicone based "life" has the binary code Maybe i'm saying stupid shit but i find the similarities in principals amusing to me at least
