Listening to the gsmes are just not the same without that distinct voice.

^ it really isn't. the guy they've got now is good...but the whole broadcast is just motormouth city. not trying to fault them - unfortunately, almost all sports broadcasting is like that now.

Likeone someone said on the news, it was how he broadcast. Ernie put his heart into broadcasting. It was very sad to hear he past. A few years ago, I had the honor of hearing him speak live. Through his speech, you can tell he was a brilliant, funny and caring man.

Rest In Peace Ernie. You will be greatly miss.
