Lip Piercings

No offense to anyone who likes them, but I personally don't like the monroe. It just seems like such an off the wall place to have a piercing and I think I have only seen one person (two, including that picture) who actually look good with it.

Either people really like them or they don't like them at all. I'm a fan of the Monroe and think it's quite sexy. I've been wanting one for a while, but like I said, I don't think I could get away with it at work. Besides, I don't feel like going through the whole oral piercing aftercare routine again.

Yep, it does suck if you have a partner. I got my tongue pierced when I was VERY single. Still, the fact that I couldn't eat cheese and bread or drink beer or wine for a few weeks sucked.

Lip piercings.... I think they're cool. Hell, I've kissed 2 guys with a traditional Labret piercing. Not trying to sound dirty or anything but maaann, feeling that piercing up against my mouth was fuuunn. =D

The Monroe piercing.... I'm just curious if it hurts. I mean, I've had stitches through my top lip and eh, getting them tugged on was a wench. As for a needle going through, I dont know. I think I'd rather get it through the bottom than the top. Although, I'm not prone to getting a lip piercing anytime soon either. I still have ear projects to slowly finish.

They were 00's. Now, I'm back to 8's. I have a stunning pair of amber 00 plugs with ants that I can't even wear. My earlobes kept splitting, so I had to let them go down a bit in size. =(

I have a lip ring on the left side. I love it and after healing I could take it out for hours for work. I like the monroe if it is a stud or something like that. The first one I ever saw was a flat piece of metal and I thought the chick had a tack in her face. My ex wanted me to get the monroe but there is too much metal in that area already, lip, nose, togue.

Age doesn't realy matter that much. My grandma is in her 60's and got all of her tattoos in the past 10 years. She has also been threatening me with coming over so I can peirce her nipples :shudders uncontrolably:.

ouch, sounds that painful. I feel like I should know this, but what is ear splitting? The worst ive seen when someones has got large gauge ear lobe piercings is that they dont heal up.

That's exactly what was happening. They weren't healing. I was fine at 0g, but as soon as I moved up to 00g, I was miserable. I'll stick to my 8g.

I used to have my lip pierced a few years ago..I miss it! Also, I have 2g's in my ears and it took them forever to heal!
