Fierce Critter Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 This is our new car! We got it yesterday. It's a 1996 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE. He gave us a good deal on it. We think he knew about a problem with the radiator that we "discovered" today, but for the price we got it for, it's no big deal. We have to replace the radiator, but it's something Jon can do, and we already found the part online for half the price we'd pay at a store. He put a new motor in it 84,000 miles ago, so basically, it's like having a vehicle with 84,000 miles on it. Actual mileage on the odometer is 214,000. The transmission was rebuilt a year or so ago, too. So that's in good shape. The "good stuff": it has power windows, locks & mirrors. The A/C works great. It rides wonderful. It has 60,000 mile tires on it that are less than a year old. It has a luggage rack on the top, and a tow hitch on the back. New floor mats. Upholstery in great condition. Sliding doors on both sides of the van. Heck - it's about better than our truck at this point. =) It's a hell of a car for the money. Even with the radiator repair, we got a fantastic deal. Huzzah! No more 1-vehicle restrictions!!!
