This reminds me of a concert by the Who that this happened to back in the early 80's. That is one of the reasons I fear such large events.

As concert tragedies, this ranks right up there with the Rolling Stones/Hell's Angels Altamont Speedway Free Festival incident in 1969, if not higher.
