10/30 City Club Halloween Party Info.

The party starts at 10pm Saturday night. Cost is $5. 18+

The Gothsicles will go on after midnight (probably 12:30 to be exact) in the Ballroom.

Aviva (Belly Dancing) and Lady Fuscia (Aerial performance) will go on before midnight.

Kimberly Sinical isn't performing, cancelled:(

We will have a costume contest as well going on during The Gothsicles show. Prizes will be from Noir Leather, Showtime, and more.

Please no cameras. We will also have a photographer in the Ballroom that will take portrait shots of couples and or singles who want pics for Halloween.

DJ's Nocker, Joey Deadcat, Scary Guy, and Justin Carver will be in the Leland Ballroom.

In the Main room, I believe though not entirely sure DJ's Pleasure kitten, Aaron Hingst, and Electrosonik are spinning. Is this correct Kat?

You ALL should be heading out Halloween weekend.

Things start Friday the 29th with Pleasurekitten and Pulse State on the decks. If Pulse State plays Scooter it will be scary

Saturday has not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 (FOUR!!!!) of the best of the current GOTH DJ's in the Detroit scene with Joey Deadcat, Scary Guy, Justin Carver and Nocker. These guys eat, breathe, sleep and shit deathrock, psychobilly , goth, and coldwave. You can fully expect to hear classic goth as well as the newer artist you may be unfamiliar with. All four of those guys will be in the ballroom of City Club. Get out and support these guys cause the level of goth awesome will be unparalleled.

But wait, there's more. Chicago-based band the Gothsicles will be performing LIVE. If you've never seen the Gothsicles they are by far one of the most humorous bands you will ever see and hear, often poking fun of the goth and video game sub cultures. Gothsicles could have played anywhere on Halloween and they decided to come to the scariest place they know - DETROIT. Don't miss them.

And nope... not done yet...

In the main room, DJ's Aaron Hingst, Elektrosonik and Saint will be rotating sets. Expect the newest tunes and your favorite tunes from every genre.

That's 7 DJ's in one night spread between 2 rooms! Plus a band and other shenanigans.

And you never know what other guest and surprises will be and may be lurking in the shadows...

All this for $5.00 cover. Open until 4:30 a.m. (other clubs close at 2 a.m.).

Last Halloween there were 1200 people in attendance. Crowded but a TON of awesome fun.

You all know, City Club has long been the place to celebrate Halloween. Hope to see you this year.

That's correct! I have a wedding to attend in Ann Arbor that evening, so I won't be DJ'ing, but I'll be coming down afterward to catch my pals The Gothsicles!

The man speaks the truth! This is going to be an awesome weekend and I will be up there both nights (I am helping out with the Saturday night party). I love the new AND the old, so this is pretty damned close to perfection!
