I will agree with this article. Anyone who accesses VampireFreaks.com MUST have some deep seeded issues in that they think they are gothic vampires when really they are just emo. And with some of the stuff her parents said? They don't allow her to express her gothness? I woulda run away too.

I think that's why my daughter is a happy, well, adjusted child. I encourage her to be herself. Some of these parent's kill me with what their expectations. It's like, parent's get upset over their kids, say sexual preferences, but they don't consider the fact that if you as a parent make your child feel that they cannot express who they are, provided they are not hurting anyone, than, you will never actually know who your child really is and what is going on in their lives. Too many parent's don't consider the terrible alternatives to what could happen to a child if they cannot turn to their own parent's when they need them most.

Damn, and I am surprised that this article didn't say "this young girl is bipolar and off her meds". It seems like every time a teenager or young adult is missing that is the first thing the media says.
