I had paranhas back in the day. They won;t eat the pleco probably. Plecos eat poo... and dead fish scraps... and whatever else they can find. They can also get like 18" long. I guess they taste bad, and they are an armored fish. I have Cichlids now... a community tank with an oscar, 2 blue dempseys, a parrotfist, 3 angels, a pleco and a random gourami. It's funny too because the angels are my meanest fish.

I gave up on the paranhas because they are too aggressive. They would eat eachother, and when I would open the tank to feed them they would jump right out! (Not to mention danger when tank cleaning. Rubber gloves...

Eh, if you keep them well fed they shouldnt fight each other, aside from the occasional fin nipping. How big was your tank/how many piranha? My piranha are super skidding, they run away when I put food in the tank, lol. They are still pretty small (3 inches maybe) so I dont fear cleaning my tank yet. Im surprised you have a community tank with an oscar! those things are almost as mean as the piranha...

I gotta clean the tank today to get it ready for my new lobster, hope I dont get bit :D

Yea they wont crawl away at least. Although I do have to get a top for my tank soon because they are starting to get a little hyper when I first put food in.

Yea, I have been told by everyone time and time again that its good for promoting so I finally gave in. as for pics of me...Sadly I cant control everyone, although I with they wouldnt put pics of me up.

There's a lot of people in our neighborhood with a LOT of kids, so many that I'm sure they wouldn't notice one missing...and they're FREE . Just sayin'
