Hullo!

I'm new at DGN. I miss Detroit and try to come back to my old stomping grounds for shows and the like every so often. I've also lurked around for a while and frequent Necto when possible. I used to be a heavy City Club goer about six or seven years ago. Please don't eat me.

Current location: Kalamazoo

Where from: Milford

Gender: Male

Work: Cashier

School: Finishing up a degree at Western Michigan University

Kids: None

Married: Nope.

Single: Si!

Hobbies: Writing, playing bass and violin, sleeping.

How Did You Find DGN: Lurking around the internets.

Other Stuff: I also DJ an industrial show on the local Kalamazoo FM station, otherwise I'm a pretty average weirdo.

Welcome! Clearly you are on top of shit because you even posted your own welcome question list, nice :peanutbutterjellytime:. Nice hobbies, what kind of writing by chance?

Thank you, thank you.

I do some weird experiments with fiction. Lots of short story pieces...got a stack of rejection letters to prove my dedication.

And I will definitely look out for loose wires and broken chairs when I'm taking seats...thanks for the heads up, Mr. Prick.

Hello and welcome. Besides watching where you sit, watch where you step. Lifts only help so much in some of the places we go.

Greetings and Salutations!

Also, don't set your drink down anywhere...you might wake up on someones lawn

This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍

Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing.  I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today.  Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home.  Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall.  But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business.  Thankfully it was some work at home stuff.   I definitely do not like being that kind of tired.  It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened.
