Advice Please On Looking for an Agent

So, I'm on Model Mayhem, and about every site there is. All I get is Photographers, and others, but not Agents. Could I perhaps have some advice on where can I find an agent, and google says I don't have any near me, so I tried all I could do. Just any advice would be nice, I really want to get this dream going of modeling here A-SAP...

Good luck, because that's what it takes to get into the field. Luck and connections. I will say just be weary of what you're signing, many of them are scams that try to get you to pay up front for services, saying they'll get you work, and then never deliver.
