Don't get me wrong, I'm very libertarian leaning...but seriously wtf. No, really. What. The. Fuck. That sounds like a terrible idea!

Nice idea, but seriously I can see that project ending badly. Looks like the commune from hell to me. I have lived in the middle of the ocean before. It was not an easy thing to do even though we were still under United States jurisdiction. Waking up every morning, walking outside and being completely surrounded by water plays tricks on the mind itself. You must be completely self-sufficient, i.e. you are the fireman, policeman, cook, plumber etc. Due to the isolation pre-set social norms, laws and guidelines are useful. If they do not firmly establish their government or even some type of governing authority before setting out for the open water, then I fear they will be doomed from the start.

Well, I guess we will find out once and for all if any man is an island.

*shrugs* Those who have been dreaming of trying out such a thing for years will finally get their chance. I'm interested to see what will happen, especially if most of those who move onto the island do so for ideological reasons.

Norman is an island.

Why does this sound like something Cobra Commander would come up with?

Norman is an island.

^You have to say that with a Boston accent.

To be read with a New England accent (Mister Burns, Stewie, Brain): Neuman is an island.
